AirDroid

play.google.com

This is a great app to have on your Android device and it is super easy to use.

I like the “desktop” setup that AirDroid gives the user within a web browser. It is very easy to see, find files, and clean. This app makes backing-up and file transfers easier via the browser on Linux, Windows, or Mac!

As long as the computer and Android device the are on the same WiFi network, the app will be a breeze.

The log in process can be with an password or by simply scanning a QR code; this is safe for public networks.
